Remember, it is important that in order to continue with your LaHAP/ADAP assistance, you need to keep your certification current.
Recertification must be done every six (6) months. Don't put it off to the last minute, as the process can be time-consuming and recertification may take up to 8 weeks.
Don't let your certification lapse!
Effective March 2015, enrollment expiration for all LaHAP services is based on the approval date and six (6) months after the approval date. If you are already enrolled in LaHAP, you will receive a recertification package in the mail.

(If you have ONLY Louisiana Medicaid (Bayou Health), you do not need to enroll in LaHAP.)
